Pooja Umashankar who was last seen in Tamil in Balaji Kumar’s Vidiyum Munn as a commercial sex worker is a very talented actress. She has essayed diverse kinds of roles and has proved her worth in the industry. Known for her candidness and forthrightness, Pooja has also been busy doing Sinhala films.

The recent buzz about the Naan Kadavul actress is that she would very soon be marrying Deepak Shanmuganadhan, a Sri Lankan model and fashion designer. Their marriage is set to happen sometime next year (2015).

Pooja who made her Tamil debut in Saran’s Jay Jay had made her mark in films like Oram Po, Pattiyal, Naan Kadavul etc. It has been reported that Deepak proposed to Pooja on his birthday on October 17th which Pooja also had accepted, following which they have uploaded their photographs together in the social media.
