Poonam Kaur as the Brand Ambassador for Miss Telangana

The first ever beauty Paegant of Telangana, Miss Telangana recently had its logo launch event. The contest is now open for entries. The organizers have roped in actress Poonam Kaur as the Brand Ambassador for this prestigious event. Poonam hails from Nizamabad, Telangana and has made a name for herself in both the film and fashion worlds.

She has appeared in several Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films, as well as winning the Miss Andhra Title in 2006 and the Femina Miss India - South award in 2011.

On this occasion Poonam Kaur expressed her happiness on this oppurtunity : "I am very happy to be choosen as the face of Miss Telangana. When I started my career, I lacked proper guidance and had no set platform to showcase my abilities. This is the right platform for all young women interested in making a career in the glamour world".
