Prabhu Deva to do Charlie Chaplin 2

Prabhu Deva after his successful Devi (L) with director AL Vijay has been on a film signing spree. While he will once again be working with director Vijay with Aishwarya Rajesh as the heroine for a project, it has also been announced that he would be doing the sequel of Charlie Chaplin. The original was released in 2002 that featured Prabhu Deva, Prabhu, Abhirami and Gayathri Raghuramm in the lead roles. The film was a hit.

As of now Tanya Ravichandran and Nikki Galrani have been roped in to play the female leads alongside Prabhu Deva. Tentatively titled Charlie Chaplin 2, popular comedy writer Crazy Mohan is penning the dialogues for this movie which will be produced by T Siva of Amma Creations. Shooting of this film will commence in Goa from November 9. Music director Amresh, who rose to fame with Motta Siva Ketta Siva, will be scoring the tunes for this movie.

Apart from these films, Prabhu Deva has five projects including Karthik Subbaraj’s silent film ‘Mercury’, Yung Mung Sung with Lakshmi Menon, Gulebagavali with Hansika, Khamoshi, the Hindi version of Kolayuthir Kaalam with Billa 2 director Chakri Toleti and director Vijay’s upcoming film starring Aishwarya Rajesh in the pipeline.
