Pranitha to play IPS officer in ‘Thankamani'

South Indian actress Pranitha Subhash, who is making her debut in Malayalam with the film ‘Thankamani,’ will portray an IPS officer in the movie. Featuring Dileep in the lead, Pranitha will essay the female lead named Arpitha Nath.

Directed by Ratheesh Reghunandan of ‘Udal’ fame, the movie is jointly produced by RB Choudary under Super Good Films and Raaffi Mathirra under Iffar Media.

The movie, which is based on a real incident that occurred in the State, also features Neeta Pillai as one of the female protagonists. Tamil actors John Vijay and Sampath Ram appear in vital roles in the film. The ensemble cast includes Manoj K Jayan, Siddique, Sudev Nair, Ajmal Ameer, Major Ravi, Kottayam Ramesh, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Azeez Nedumangad, Malavika Menon, Muktha, Remya Panicker, Sivakami, Ambika Mohan and Sminu et al.

The technical crew consists of Manoj Pillai as cinematographer, Manu Jagath as art director and Shyam Sasidharan as editor. It has lyrics by B T Anil Kumar and music by William Francis.
