Prathap Pothen to direct Dulquer Salman

Prathap Pothen is back to direction after a gap of 18 years. He will direct Dulquer Salman in the movie scripted by Anjali Menon.

The news is officially announced by Prathap Pothen through his Facebook page.

The movie is produced by Global United Media, the distributors of the blockbusters ‘Bahubali’ and ‘I’ in Kerala, and the producer of the upcoming Malayalam movie ‘Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi’.

Ace director-cinematographer Rajeev Menon wields camera for the film. The film will go on floors early next year once Dulquer Salman has finished his other commitments.

Dulquer Salman has expressed his gratitude for Prathap Pothen’s Facebook post. He adds that he always waits till the directors announce the projects.

Prathap Pothen has earlier directed ‘Daisy’, ‘Ruthubhedham’, ‘Oru Yathre Mozhi’ and a few Tamil films.
