Prequel for 24?

The recently released Suriya starrer 24 directed by Vikram K Kumar is about time travel which has been communicated to the audience in a very simple and engaging fashion. Suriya played three roles in the film as that twin brothers Sethuraman, the scientist and Athreya the antagonist. The third role is that of Sethuraman’s son Manikandan.

In the film, there is more focus on a watch that helps going back and forward in time but there is nothing said on why there is so much of animosity between the twin brothers.

Director Vikram K Kumar revealed, “There are talks everywhere that I will be doing a sequel of 24. But I only have plans to make a prequel to the film which will showcase the reasons for the two brother’s enmity and how the watch came into such pivotal importance”.
