Prithviraj not in 'Munnariyippu'

It was reported that Prithviraj will team up with Mammootty in the upcoming movie ‘Munnariyippu’ to be directed by cameraman Venu. But the director has confirmed that Prithviraj will not be part of the film and Mammootty will do the lead role in this movie.

The movie will be produced by Ranjith. Mammootty plays a person who is released from jail after serving the sentence period. Aparna Gopinath is a media person who writes the life story of the character played by Mammootty.

Prathap Pothen, Nedumdi Venu, Joy Mathew, and Sashi Kumar also do important roles. R Unni pens the script of ‘Munnariyippu’. Ranjith and his friends produce ‘Munnariyippu’ under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Pictures.
