Prithvirajan in Thodra

Actor Pandiarajan’s son Prithvirajan had made his Kollywood entry through Kaivandha Kalai and later acted in films like Vaaimai and a cameo in Mupparimaanam.

He is doing a film called Thodra being directed by K Bhagyaraj’s assistant Madhuraj who had earlier distributed films like Chennai Ungalai Anbodu Azhaikkiradhu. Newbie Veena is the heroine and debutant Saravanakumar is the baddie. The supporting cast comprises of director A Venkatesh, Myna Susan, Theepetti Ganesan and others. The film is produced by Chandra Saravanakumar.

About his film, Madhuraj says, “My film will be dealing with the contemporary relationships in the society and how the social strata divide relationships. It is based on two important real-life incidents that shook the northern districts of Tamil Nadu. Like how Kaadhal was for Bharath, Thodra would have the same effect for Prithvirajan’s career.
