Priyadarshan resigned the post of Film Academy Chairman

Priyadarshan resigned from the post of Film Academy Chairman. The term is for three years and he had one more month to complete his tenure. He said that his resignation is due to his busy schedule in the industry.

"I am very satisfied as the chairman in these past three years. I hope that these years went on without many disputes," says Priyadarshan.

Priyadrshan was appointed as the Chairman of the Kerala Film Academy in 2011. Rumors are doing the rounds that Priyadarshan quit the post due to the differences in the academy.
