Producer Council asks producers to announce the release date of their films

Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council (TFPC), headed by Vishal and team is actively involved in various activities for the betterment of the industry. They announced yesterday through an official note requesting producers to register the release date of their films.

The TFPC press statement reads, "To clear the confusions prevailing over the release dates of many films, we request all the producers and the makers (who have planned to release their film before January 2018) to register the release date of their film with our association as soon as possible."

This is a good move as in Hollywood, the film announcement also comes with the details about the release dates. While in Bollywood, this method is being followed for certain films, it cannot be said the same for all the films. However, it would be very professional if Kollywood films also announce their release dates well ahead as planning for other films also would be made easier.
