Promo song by Thaikkudam Bridge band

The famous music band Thaikkudam Bridge handles the music department of a Malayalam movie for the first time. The promo song of their first movie ‘Haram’ is launched.

The video has the jamming section of the promo song which begins “Penne penne…”. All members of the band are seen in the video.

Earlier Govind Menon, the lead member of the band has composed music for the films ‘North 24 Katham’ and ‘Vegam’. But this is for the first time the Thaikkudam Band itself composes music for a movie.

‘Haram’ is the debut directorial venture of Vinod Sukumaran who got the National Award for the Best Non Feature Film for his documentary titled ‘Diary of a Housewife’ (2001). He was also awarded the Best Editor Award from the State Government for Shyamaprasad’s ‘Ore Kadal’.

The story and script of ‘Haram’ are also penned by Vinod Sukumaran. ‘Haram’ narrates the story of two lovers, Balu (Fahad Fazil) and Isha (Radhika Apte) who get married and the issues that arises in their married life.

Rajasree Deshpande, Sagarika, Madhupal, ‘Marimayam’ fame Sreekumar are the other main actors in ‘Haram’. The movie is produced by P Sukumar and Saji Samuel.
