Puli gets postponed to October 1st

Puli, easily the most anticipated film of the year starring Ilayathalapathy Vijay with Hansika, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, Kicha Sudheep and others is directed by Chimbu Deven and produced by Shibu Thameens and P T Selvakumar. The film’s trailer which was released recently is reaching a mammoth number and has already crossed 4.2 million views and more than 82000 likes.

The film which was scheduled to be released on the 17th of September is postponed to October 1st now. The producer SKT studios, in their Twitter handle had informed, “"1st OCTOBER,2015" #Puli in Theatres :)”

Although this has caused a disappointment of sorts among the fans, the reasons attributed to the same were said to be due to post-production issues. The film as it involves exhaustive VFX work, the crew is taking that long a time to complete the procedure and release. Click the Movie button below for more info:
