Punathil Kunjabdulla's short story to silver screen

Well known Malayalam novelist and short story writer Punathil Kunjabdulla’s short story “John Paul Vathil Thurakkunnu” is being filmed with the same title. Deepak Parambol does the lead role in this movie.

After playing the communist youth leader Manoj in ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ and the villain in ‘Thira’, Deepak does the hero in ‘John Paul Vathil Thurakkunnu’. Sudeep Joshi, Nirmal, Vishnu Raghav, Sruthi Menon, P Balachandran, and Darshana also include the cast.

‘John Paul Vathil Thurakkunnu’ is the story of two men and how their lives get entangled when John, who comes to attend an interview, opens a door that he should not have. As a result their lives get changed forever.

‘John Paul Vathil Thurakkunnu’ is an emotional action thriller directed by Chandrahasan. The script is written by the director himself. The movie is produced by Arjun Mohan under the banner of Ministry of Movies. Aniyan Mathew composes music for the lines of K Jayakumar.
