Punnasseri Kanchana making a return after 45 years

Punnasseri Kanchana is making a return to the industry after a long hiatus of 45 years. Her second coming is through the film ‘Olappeeppi’ directed by Krish Kymal.

Punnasseri Kanchana is now 85 years old. She has been in the industry for a period of around 25 years. Her first movie was ‘Prasanna’.

‘Olappeeppi’ narrates the story of the relationship shared between a grandmother and her grandson. Biju Menon does the lead role and Punnasseri Kanchana plays his grandmother.
