Queen Tamil remake shelved?

Queen, the Hindi film that had Kangana Ranaut doing the lead role and getting a National Award was about how a young woman, whose marriage gets broken, discovers herself. The film was loved by all and needless to say, it had many takers for remakes in many south Indian languages.


Thiagarajan, father of actor Prashanth bought the remake rights in the south Indian languages and it was said that Revathy would be directing the film with Suhasini writing the dialogues. Tamannaah was brought on board as the heroine reprising Kangana’s role.


But now, it is reported that Tamannaah has walked out of the project due to remuneration issues and the project may be shelved, especially the Tamil version. Tamannaah was recently quoted as saying that she has indeed come out of Queen remake but did not find the time to announce. Click the Movie button below for more info:
