Rachel McAdams to star in 'True Detective 2'?

Actress Rachel McAdams is reportedly in contention for the lead role in the second season of the crime drama TV series "True Detective".

The 35-year-old is competing with the likes of Elisabeth Moss and Michelle Forbes for the role.

It is believed that there will be four lead parts, three of which are male. If McAdams joins the show, she may be working alongside Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch and Vince Vaughn.
