Raghava Lawrence to remake Moondru Mugam

Moondru Mugam, the blockbuster hit of Rajinikanth will soon be remade by Raghava Lawrence through is production banner Sri Raghavendra Productions.


Moondru Mugam had Rajinikanth doing triple roles and one of the roles, as the cop Alex Pandian is remembered even now. This film received the Best actor award (for Rajinikanth) in 1982 from the Tamil Nadu Government.


Right now, many popular directors are being considered to helm this remake and talks say that KS Ravikumar may be roped in. Lawrence says that the heroine and cast and crew details of this project will be announced shortly. Right now the choreographer turned director cum actor is awaiting the release of his Sai Ramani directorial Motta Siva Ketta Siva and is also doing the remake of Kannada Shivalinga under P Vasu.
