Rajini calls off birthday celebrations

Rajinikanth whose birthday is round the corner on the 12th of December has decided to call off his birthday celebrations due to the recent rains and floods in Chennai and other parts.

Sources from his camp say that since Tamil Nadu is hit by the worst ever rains in a century and people have lost their belongings and are in a somber mood, Rajinikanth does not want to celebrate his birthday this year. Announcement about his next film Enthiran 2 was scheduled to happen on 12th December which again is postponed for now.

The star who turns 64 on Saturday, has requested his fans to call off all birthday celebrations due to Chennai floods. Earlier it was also reported that a new set of Kabali posters were to be launched on 12th of December which again stands postponed. Incidentally, today is the birthday of Pa.Ranjith who is currently directing superstar in Kabali.
