Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan laud Mersal

While the Diwali release Vijay starrer Mersal continues to remain in some kind of controversy and in the headlines, the stalwarts of the Tamil film industry, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan had seen the film and had extended their support.

Rajinikanth took to Twitter to convey his appreciation. He tweeted, “Important topic addressed... Well done !!! Congratulations team #Mersal”. This has been a big boost to the team of Mersal who are much delighted.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan had voiced his opinion in support of the lines in the film on GST and the digital initiative of the central government, which had earned the wrath of the politicians. He had also seen the film and the photos of him with the hero Vijay and the production team were going viral. Interestingly, a poster of Kamal’s yesteryear blockbuster Apoorva Sagodarargal which was in the background, had also elicited a lot of humor among the netizens as the film is said to have a lot of resemblance with the Kamal starrer.
