Rajinikanth announces his entry into politics

When it was widely debated as to whether he would enter politics or not, Superstar Rajinikanth announced in the fan meet yesterday, the 31st December that he is going to take the plunge.

He announced that he would form a separate party and that he would contest in the 234 assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu. This has been welcomed by his fans and celebrities all over who have expressed their happiness on the Mannan hero’s decision.

His close friend Kamal Haasan took to Twitter to say, “Best wishes on brother Rajini’s social consciousness and political entry”. His friend from Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “My dear friend, my colleague and a humble considerate human, RAJNIKANTH, announces his decision to enter politics .. my best wishes to him for his success !!”. While this decision is also being criticized, it sure has sent the Dravidian parties of Tamil Nadu into a tizzy.
