Rajinikanth cancels his fan meeting

There was a fan meet scheduled from 12th to 16th April where Superstar Rajinikanth was supposed to meet his fans in his Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai. But a statement from the actor revealed that he has cancelled this meet for now.

The statement reads. “It is almost ten years since I met you all and took photographs. You fans have been requesting me for this for a long time, but it could not happen mainly because of lack of time.

An opportunity to meet you all had come in now and an event was planned from the 12th to 16th April at Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam, Chennai. But it was said that I would take photos with eight members in one shot and that way meet around 2000 people, 300 from each district per day.

Since this was disappointing, you fans have requested that you want to take individual photographs with me. Since this is not possible now, we have postponed this event. I would have this event in future where I would meet and take pictures with the members of one or two districts a day. The date for this would be announced soon”.
