Rajinikanth distances himself from Dhanush's dad
Mar 26, 2015 JBSuperstar Rajinikanth had filed a counter affidavit in response to a civil suit filed by Bothra of Sowcarpet and clearly stated that he cannot be held responsible for the amount of Rs 65 lakhs borrowed by Kasthuriraja who is the father-in-law of his daughter Aishwarya and father of actor Dhanush.
In his petition, Bothra claimed that Kasthuriraja had obtained Rs 65 lakh from him, promising that if he failed to repay the sum, Rajinikanth would.
In his counter affidavit, Rajinikanth stated that he is not aware of Kasthuriraja’s financial dealings and cannot be held accountable for the same. He also wanted Bothra’s application to be dismissed. He added that he had not authorized or consented or guaranteed Bothra that he would repay the amount borrowed by Kasthuriraja in case of default. Any such alleged transaction between Bothra and Kasthuriraja will not have any bearing to his suit, Rajini added.
