Rajinikanth gets Padma Vibhushan

Indian government has announced its Padma Awards and Tamil film industry is over excited as superstar Rajinikanth would be conferred with Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award in the country.

Sharing her happiness on her dad’s gigantic feat, daughter Soundarya tweeted, “Proud daughter !!!!! Appa is now Padma vibhushan shri Rajinikanth”.

On the other hand, there are quite a lot of luminaries from the film industry whose names appear in the Padma Awards list. Baahubali director SSRajamouli will be getting Padmashri while his contemporaries Priyanka Chopra, Ajay Devgn, Udit Narayan also will be bestowed with Padmashri. Anupam Kher will be receiving Padma Bhushan. Nowrunning congratulates all the proud winners.
