Rajinikanth in Sankranthi race

The films in Sankranthi race may be in for a jolt as the makers of Rajinikanth's next, Kabali are planning to push their film in the festive season. The movie earlier was planned for Summer release but is now ready for Pongal.The movie shooting is almost complete. They have completed a major schedule in Malaysia and the last schedule of the movie will begin in Chennai in December first week.

The movie directed by Ranjith PA is tentatively titled as 'Mahadev' in Telugu. Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of an aging gangster in the movie. The pictures so far leaked from the movie location portrays the Superstar at his stylish best. Radhika Apte is the female lead in the film. Santosh Narayanan is composing tunes for the movie which will be produced by Kailaipuli S Thanu.
