Rajinikanth joins Twitter

Days ahead of his Vikrama Simha release, Superstar Rajinikanth joined the Micro blogging site, Twitter to make his presence felt in the digital world. The actor told he's looking forward to catch up on the "best Rajini one-liners".

The actor can be engaged via his handle @SuperStarRajini.

"I decided to start with Twitter because I felt that the platform is abuzz with all the news and the trends that happen across the globe and I'm told that this is where all the best Rajini one-liners are," the 63-year-old said in a statement.

No sooner did the Superstar join the Twitter, he was flocked by followers. The current count is more than 50000 and is fast running. CA Media Digital's first venture, Fluence - a celebrity digital network will manage his digital presence. They are already managing Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan's Twitter accounts.
