Rajinikanth to act in a Malayalam remake

Superstar Rajinikanth is doing two projects right now. One with director Pa.Ranjith’s Kabali and the other with director Shankar in Enthiran 2.0. While the shooting portions of Kabali are over, Shankar’s Enthiran 2.0 began a month back and is likely to complete by 2017 first quarter.

Meanwhile talks have emerged that Rajinikanth will be working in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam film Bhaskar The Rascal directed by Siddhique who has given Tamil films like Kavalan and Friends. Bhaskar the Rascal feature Mammootty and Nayanthara and the film was lauded for its content and performance.

Siddhique reveals that he has tweaked the story to suit the Tamil sensibilities and that the superstar really liked his script. He has also divulged that Rajini will begin this project in 2017 after he is done with Enthiran 2.0. But sources close to Rajini say that the superstar has not committed to any film till now.
