Rakul Preet Singh in Sivakarthikeyan's next

Rakul Preet Singh who was recently seen as the heroine in Karthi’s Theeran Adhigaram Ondru has apparently signed her next Tamil film where Sivakarthikeyan will be the hero. The project was in the limelight recently when Oscar winner AR Rahman had been roped in to score music. Yes, we are talking about the project that would be directed by Ravikumar Rajendran of Indru Netru Naalai fame.

This project will be a sci-fi one and it is reported that Rakul has had a narration and she was blown away by the script. Her role is apparently different from what she has done before and is quite interesting. The concept of the film is different and it will have a universal appeal, something that will be liked by both, kids and adults, alike. The film is in the pre-production stage, and is likely to go on floors by June-July and would have a release early next year.

As regards Rakul’s other films in Tamil, she will be doing Suriya-Selvaraghavan film and also Karthi’s film with debutant Rajat Ravishankar.
