Ram Charan using a song from shelved film

Ram Charan has a shelved movie titled Merupu few years ago. The film was shelved after canning a song on Charan and Kajal. The song had gone wasted then and now the song is being used for Ram Charan's next, the remake of Tamil blockbuster, Thani Oruvan.

NV Prasad, the producer of Merupu is also one of the producers of Thani Oruvan remake and so the reuse is happening now. This is the fourth combination film of Ram Charan and Kajal. They previously teamed up for Magadheera, Nayak and Govindhudu Andari Vaadele. All the films did well at the box office and so Kajal is considered as the lucky charm for Charan. Surrender Reddy is directing the film.
