Rana and Sri Divya replace Siddharth and Samantha

Bangalore Days in Malayalam was much acclaimed and the film will be remade in Tamil and Telugu by Bommarillu Bhaskar. Initially, Siddharth and Samantha were said to reprise Fahaad and Nazriya’s roles, but post their break-up, they issued statements saying that they would not be a part of the remake.

This has resulted in a change of the cast list. It is reported that Rana Daggubati will play the role of Siddharth and Sri Divya the role of Samantha. Rana is well known in Telugu film industry and he is also not new to Tamil audience as he was seen in Vishnuvardhan’s Arrambam.

The other cast members include Arya and Simhaa. The film is said to commence from March last week when the team plans to begin their shooting in Chennai. Santhosh Narayanan scores music for the film.
