'Ranam' shoot begins in US

Prithviraj starrer “Ranam” (Detroit Crossing) will be shot extensively in the US. The filming for the movie began in Atlanta on August 22. Directed by debutant Nirmal Sahadev, the film tells the tale of Tamil street gangs in Detroit and Michigan.

Mamta Mohandas is the female lead in the movie. Rahman also plays an important role.

A number of Tamil actors will also be part of the film, which is inspired by real life situations. The film will also be shot in India.

Technicians from the US are also involving in the making of the movie, which is produced by Anand Kumar Payyannur and Biju under the banner of Yes Cinemas Company. Click the Movie button below for more info:
