Resul Pookutty turns director

Oscar Award winning sound designer Resul Pookutty turns director. His first film will be produced by his own production firm Le Penta Productions.

Though a Malayali, Resul’s debut directorial venture is in Hindi. The movie will go on floors within three months.

Resul said that he will also direct movies in other languages too. He also said Mammootty will play the lead role in his first film in Malayalam.

Mahesh Ramanathan, former COO of Reliance Entertainment, Kumar Bhaskar, Kuldeep Singh Rathore, and Girish Raghavan have joined hands along with Resul Pookutty in forming Le Penta Productions.
