Reunion of the 90s actors

Reunion is just not with educational institutions alone and it seems to have cropped in film industry too. An initiative that was started by Suhasini Mani Ratnam and Lissy Priyadarshan involved all the actors from the 80s across the various film industries of the south that seems to have inspired many.

Now the trend appears to have caught on with actors of the 90s too. Recently they all gathered in a very informal meeting at director K S Ravikumar’s house. Talking about this event, Ravikumar says, “This ideas was actually mooted by Meena and Sundar C and I just arranged it in my house. Instead of just meeting and sharing nostalgia, we have also decided to something to the society as well”.

The event was attended by Sundar C, K S Ravikumar, Suriya, Jyothika, Arvind Swamy, director Shankar, Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Jayaram, Parthiban, A R Rahman, Meena, Sanghavi, Roja, Venkat Prabhu, Simran and Maheshwari. The dress code was white but since A R Rahman was not informed about it, he looked different in striped tee.
