Ritika Singh about her role in Vanangamudi

Vanangamudi is an upcoming film directed by Selva which has Arvind Swami in the lead. Ritika Singh, Simran, Chandini, Nanditha and others.

Ritika Singh who impressed the Tamil audience with her strong portrayal in Irudhi Suttru went on to do Manikandans’ Aandavan Kattalai and later Shivalinga with Raghava Lawrence. Now she is also a part of Vanangamudi which is nearing completion.

On her role in the film, Ritika says, “I am doing a lively and independent girl in Vanangamudi, but there’s more to her than what meets the eye. The role brings out several shades in me as the plot unravels. It’s the script and the character that excites and pushes me to explore new terrains.”

About her fluency in Tamil, Ritika says that she is comfortable speaking in Tamil as she constantly listens to her staff and the unit people. She also feels that understanding the language would help her express herself better and emote well. She is keen to dub for herself in future films and is rapidly learning the language.
