Ritika Singh in P Vasu's film

Ritika Singh made a name for herself with her very first film Irudhi Suttru directed by Sudha Kongara. She is now doing her second Tamil film Aandavan Kattalai being directed by Kaakka Muttai Manikandan.

Now she has bagged her third Tamil film too. She has been roped in by director P Vasu for his next film which will be a remake of Kannada blockbuster Shivlinga. Ritika Singh will be reprising the role of Vedhika from the original in Tamil.

Lawrence will be doing the lead in this film. Initially it was said that the title of the film was Chandramukhi 2 but now it will be remade in the same title Shivlinga. Vadivelu will be doing an important role while Vasu’s son Shakthi Vasu will also be there in the film. Trident Arts Ravindra will be bankrolling this venture. Thaman is in charge of music and film is planned to be a Pongal 2017 release.
