Robert Pattinson joins the cast of Guy Pearce-starrer thriller 'Brimstone'

Actors Robert Pattinson and Carice Van Houten have joined Mia Wasikowska and Guy Pearce in writer-director Martin Koolhoven’s thriller film “Brimstone”.

Embankment Films is pitching the movie at the ongoing European Film Market in Berlin.

Pattinson will play an outlaw, who has a crucial influence on this tale of retribution, while Wasikowska will essay Liz, a heroine on the run from her past.

“Martin directs a highly emotional, gripping and unique story of a mesmerising woman who battles the vengeance of a zealot,” said Tim Haslam of Embankment.

The principal photography of “Brimstone” will start in May this year.
