Romance blooms in 'Akale…' song from '9'

Featuring Prithviraj and Mamta Mohandas, the romantic album “Akale…” from the film ‘9’ is rhythmically captivating with the apt blend of melody and foot-tapping tune. Shaan Rahman has composed music to the lines penned by Harinarayanan and Preeti Nambiar. The highly expressive voice in the song is lent by Harib Hussain.

The naturally conceived song with austere shots showcases the transformation of the romantic episode of the lead characters into married life. Written and directed by Jenuse Mohamed, there is a perfect harmony of song and shots.

This science fiction film marks the maiden production venture of Prithviraj, and it is also the debut of Sony Pictures International Productions in Malayalam along with Prithviraj Productions.

Prakash Raj, Wamiqa Gabbi, Mamta Mohandas, Alok, Parvathy and Nithya Menon among others are also part of the movie. Abhinand Ramanujam cranks the camera. It will reach theatres on February 7.
