Saamy 2 commences

Saamy directed by Hari is one of the most notable cop flicks in Tamil films. The film was marked by a racy screenplay, a different narrative pattern and of course Vikram’s exceptional acting.

After 14 years, director Hari is coming up with a sequel to Saamy, which will feature a stellar cast including Vikram, Trisha, Keerthy Suresh and Bobby Simhaa in the lead roles. This film is titled as Saamy 2 and is bankrolled by Shibu Thameens under his production banner. The film is all set to go on floors in Chennai on September 24. After wrapping up a schedule in Chennai, the team will also shoot important sequences in Tirunelveli, Kerala, New Delhi, Mussoorie and Nepal.

An interesting aspect in the cast list is the addition of veteran actor Prabhu and comedian Soori in this sequel. The makers have roped in composer Devi Sri Prasad to score the tunes.
