Sai Pallavi in Maari 2

Sai Pallavi who stole the hearts of movie goers after her natural performance in the Malayalam film Premam went on to do Kali in Malayalam and also Fidaa in Telugu. She will soon be foraying in to Tamil through director AL Vijay’s Karu.

The latest happy news for all her Tamil fans is that she has also signed Balaji Mohan’s Maari 2 as the heroine. Informing this in his twitter page, Balaji Mohan said, “The vibrant @Sai_Pallavi92 is the #HeroineofMaari2Its a character thats right at the heart of the story of #Maari2 #SaiPallavi #Bilingual”. Producer Wunderbar Films also stated, “Excited to announce that Sai Pallavi is on board for Maari 2 as the female lead and is all set to go tharalocal with us”.

The film is a bilingual to be made in Tamil and Telugu with Dhanush as the lead and Tovino Thomas as the antagonist. The first part had the pulsating music of Anirudh Ravichander. It is not yet sure, if Anirudh would compose the music for Maari 2 also or Sean Roldan who appears to be in the good books of Dhanush these days. The announcement is expected to come in soon.
