Sai Pallavi opposite Madhavan in 'Charlie' Tamil remake

There were reports that Dulquer Salman’s super hit movie ‘Charlie’ will be remade in Tamil. Madhavan plays the role done by Dulquer Salman in the original.

The Tamil version is directed by A L Vijay. The Tamil film will have Sai Pallavi playing the role of the heroine which was the done by Parvathy in Malayalam. This is the debut Tamil movie of Sai Pallavi.

The movie is produced by Sruthi Nallappa. Director A L Vijay made modifications in the script to satiate the taste of the Tamil audience, without losing the essence of the original.

The shooting will kick-start in March. The music is done by Liyon James. The film is also remade in Marathi and Bengali.
