Samantha in Thiagarajan Kumararaja film

Thiagarajan Kumararaja, director of the much acclaimed debut film Aaranya Kandam will soon be directing his second film. This project will have Vijay Sethupathi in the lead.

There are also talks going on with Fahaadh Faasil and Nivin Pauly to rope in them for another lead role. But it is yet to be finalized.

Meanwhile, for the heroine’s role, Samantha has been brought on board. It has to be remembered that this is the first time that the actress is teaming with Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi. Although, there are talks about her impending marriage with Naga Chaitanya, the actress has signed Sivakarthikeyan’s film with director Ponram and debutant Mithran’s Irumbu Thirai with Vishal. Looks like the lady is quite serious about her roles and films.
