Samantha likes to act in Malayalam

Tamil and Telugu actress Samantha said in an interview that she likes to act in Malayalam movie. Samantha’s mother is a Malayalee from Alappuzha and her father is from Andhra.

Her Telugu movie ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ released last year opened to highly positive reviews and eventually went on to become the highest grossing Telugu film of all time. Before this she has become quite acceptable in the Tamil and Telugu industry. Samantha did a cameo appearance in Gautam Menon’s ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ and was the heroine in its Telugu remake titled ‘Ye Maya Chesave’.

Samantha’s performance as Bindu in ‘Eega’ has won her many awards and accolades. The film has garnered many awards in the State and National levels. Samantha is liked by the Malayalee audience too with the Malayalam version of this movie ‘Eecha’.

Samantha said that discussions are progressing for her debut in the Malayalam industry and she has not yet committed for any projects as she is now busy with a few Tamil and Telugu projects. She will be part of Malayalam after three Tamil and Telugu projects each. She adds that she is eagerly waiting for a good role in Malayalam.
