Sanchita Shetty in Johnny Gaddar remake

Sanchita Shetty who was caught recently in the Suchi leaks controversy has moved on in her career and life. She is right now doing a film which is the Tamil remake of the Hindi film Johnny Gaddar that had Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead. Prabhu, Sayaji Shinde, Ashutosh Rana and Devadarshini form part of the supporting cast.

Apparently, actor Prashanth’s father Thiagarajan is bankrolling this venture which will have Prashanth reprising Neil Nitin’s role in Tamil. The film is titled as Johnny and is being directed by Vetriselvan, who had worked as an associate in films like Yeman and Amara Kaaviyam.

About the film, Sanchita says, "The Hindi version was a hit and when I was approached for this film, I took it up as the female character has a solid role. I also watched the original and will be giving my own dimension to the role in its remake. I have already begun shooting for my portions and will wind up my portions by the end of this month."
