Sankar again as hero

Yester year hero Shankar is back after a hiatus to do the lead role in the movie ‘Akashangalil’. The movie is directed by debutante Rixon Xavier.

The shooting of the film has been completed and the film is getting ready for release. ‘Akashangalil’ narrates the story of Amala, a retired air hostess. Pooja Vijayan plays the role of Amala. Ranjith Raj and Rakesh Krishna also do important roles.

The movie is scripted by the director himself. Vagamon and Ernakulam are the main shooting locations. ‘Akashangalil’ is produced under the banner of Touching Hearts Movie Makers.
