Santhanam's makeover for Dhillukku Dhuttu

We saw Santhanam in the last week’s release Valeba Raja and the actor is quite busy with many films in his kitty. In one of his upcoming films, Dhillukku Dhuttu, Santhanam is said to have had a makeover where he plays the hero’s role. This film is directed by Ram Bala and has Shanaya as Santhanam’s pair.

It is reported that Santhanam is attempting a ‘mass’ dance number, Sivan Maganda, for the first time in his career for this film under the choreography of Ashok Raja.

Talking about Santhanam’s new look, Ram Bala says, “Santhanam has undergone a complete makeover, and is sporting a neatly-trimmed beard. The sequence required 100 dancers and 400 junior artistes, with veteran singer Sirgazhi Sivachidambaram rendering the number under Thaman’s music direction. All of them had to pierce their cheeks and body with spears and hooks, as an offering to the Lord. Santhanam underwent rehearsals, and ended up doing the dance number effortlessly”.
