Santhosh Aechikkanam to script for Suraj Venjarammoodu

Santhosh Aechikkanam’s new film is about the drought affected remote village of Paruthippully. The movie will be directed by debutant Sabah. Suraj Venjarammoodu plays the lead role of Subrahmanyan.

Subrahmanyan is a hotel owner in the village who gives great value in saving water and gives warning to the villagers about the chances of the coming draught and its aftereffects. But no one cares.

Palaghat is the main location. The untitled movie is produced by Junaid under the banner of Raindrops Films.
