Sarathkumar and Napoleon to work together

It has been 15 years since Sarathkumar and Napoleon came together for a film. They were last seen together in the hit movie, Thenkasi Pattanam. Now, the two veterans are joining hands for Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2. Though this is not a sequel to the film of the same name, the makers say that they kept the title keeping in mind the genre which is a crime-thriller.

The film is directed by JPR and produced by Kalpatharu pictures. The film’s director JPR says, “Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2 is based on the crime-thriller novel by popular writer Rajesh Kumar. Sarath sir will play a spy agent. We have already started shooting his portions in Coimbatore.”

Interestingly, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, who has never shared screen space with Sarathkumar, has been roped in to play a crucial character in the film. Munishkanth and Baby Sathanya of Nishabdham fame appear in key characters. Click the Movie button below for more info:
