Scarlett Johansson gives birth to baby girl

Actress Scarlett Johansson and her fiancé Romain Dauriac have welcomed a daughter into this world.

The 29-year-old actress and Dauriac have reportedly named their first child Rose. A representative for the couple said the mother and the little one are both in good health following the delivery, but they are seeking privacy and do not wish their daughter to grow up under public scrutiny.

The pair, who started dating in 2012, sparked rumours they were expecting a child together in March this year, just three months after Johansson revealed that she was keen to start a family.
