Selvaraghavan's fan boy moment
Dec 27, 2015 JBWhen there are many fans for director Selvaraghavan, it looks like he is a huge fan of William Friedkin, the maker of Exorcist. Incidentally, its forty two years since the film released which was shared by Friedkin in his twitter page as, “42 years ago, yes, The Exorcist opened in 26 Theaters in the U.S. Seems like yesterday. My gratitude to the generations of audiences”.
Selva had tweeted in his page, “@WilliamFriedkin sir. I don't know you will read this but I just want to tell you it was a poem on celluloid. A benchmark. A mile stone” and later “I'm a film maker from India. so far made ten films. Only God knows how many people like me worship you around the world”.
Friedkin had immediately responded to Selva’s tweet, “As film makers we are all of the same Brotherhood and Sisterhood, wherever we are in the world”. Selva is obviously elated and has even invited the director to India. This sure is a fan boy moment.
