Shah Rukh turns 49, just for the record

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan turned 49 on Sunday, and the showman, whose "Happy New Year" made the quickest Rs.100 Cr business in India, says he doesn't count age as he feels energised always.

His birthday celebrations started Saturday night and fans assembled outside his house Mannat in Mumbai. He came out to greet his eager fans and later tweeted, "So many beautiful people outside Mannat. Thank you all for celebrating my birthday with such ownership and love. Very humbling...”

He's happy to see his fan following that has grown tremendously over the years.

"Earlier seven to eight people used to come here and celebrate my birthday. Now media has also increased and also my fans", said the star and thanked the guests from showering love.

"It's a great feeling. I feel I am not so good for the kind of love I get. I am a small person and the kind of love I get, I feel blessed. What more can I ask for myself! I only wish that everyone gets a life like Shah Rukh Khan", he said.
