Shalini Pandey in Nadigayar Thilagam

Shalini Pandey who played the love interest of Vijay Devarakonda in the recently released hit Telugu film Arjun Reddy is said to be doing a small role in the bilingual biopic of Savitri which is titled as Mahanati in Telugu and Nadigayar Thilagam in Tamil. Nag Ashwin is directing this biopic.

The film has Dulquer Salmaan playing Gemini Ganesan’s role while Keerthy Suresh will be essaying the titular character. Samantha will reportedly play a journalist in the film. Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Devarakonda plays a powerful cameo in the film that is said to be Samantha’s on screen partner in the film.

The inclusion of Shalini Pandey was revealed by Vijay Devarakonda in a live social media chat session with his fans where he also mentioned about actress Malavika Nair in the film.
